How does the robotic affect the manufacturing sectors

I’ve done my assignment of Academic Communication and my topic is about How does the robotic affect the manufacturing sectors. Therefore, I would like to share the fact about my main topic.. I wish all reader can get the poin for what I’m trying to say.. Every manufacturing sector is unique, yet some challenges are common. For example, how to improve quality and reduce delivery times while simultaneously lowering costs? To solve these problems, manufacturers around the country are turning to industrial robots. Robotic solutions to manufacturing challenges reduce process variability, increase capacity and productivity, and sometimes combine process steps. Based on the statistic, Singapore follows in second place in Asia with a rate of 488 robots per 10,000 employees in 2016. About 90 percent of robots are installed in the electronics industry in Singapore (Robot Density Rises Globally, 2017).

The robotics have their benefits which is can develops flexible fixturing and controlled processing methods to help customers overcome challenges caused by high production rates with zero changeover requirements. In welding sectors, welding robots offer efficiency, reach, speed, load capacity, and enhanced performance for welding parts of all shapes and sizes; and they support a wide range of intelligent functions such as ready-to-use robotic vision, and collision avoidance (Calderone, 2016). Another example for robotics in  manufacturing sector is drilling and fastening, inspection, painting and sealing and the lastly is collaborative assembly. According to the article of The American Society of Mechanical Engineering, each of robotics have advances in artificial intelligence, computer vision, microelectromechanical systems sensors, and semiconductor technologies have enabled industrial and service robots to work alongside humans to help assemble products across a wide range of industries (Crawford, 2017). Therefore, it is clear that robots have a distinctive role in advancing the economy, especially in the manufacturing sector.

Alright thats all for today.. Thank you for reading guyss 😍😍
